Cycle & Carriage Expands Multi-Brand Portfolio with Peugeot and Leapmotor

Jardine Cycle & Carriage (C&C) has officially secured the Peugeot distributorship in Singapore, effective 1 February 2025. This move comes just six months after adding the French automotive brand to its operations in Malaysia, further solidifying C&C’s position as a leading multi-brand distributor in the region.
Peugeot now joins Citroën—a brand C&C has represented in Singapore since 2006—and its premium counterpart DS Automobiles, which was added in 2016. With this latest acquisition, C&C takes over the Peugeot distributorship from Sime Darby, which has managed the brand for the past 24 years.

What This Means for Current Peugeot Owners
Existing Factory Warranty & Aftersales Services HonouredC&C has confirmed that all factory warranties and service packages for Peugeot vehicles purchased under the previous distributor will remain valid.
Exclusions ApplyHowever, vouchers, service credits, and extended warranties issued by the previous distributor will not be honoured by C&C.
As of end-2024, Singapore’s roads are home to approximately 4,000 Peugeot vehicles, alongside 3,800 Citroën cars and over 3,000 Opel units—another brand under Stellantis.
C&C to Introduce Chinese EV Brand Leapmotor in Singapore
In addition to Peugeot, C&C is set to introduce Leapmotor, a rapidly growing Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand. Leapmotor is the third-largest new energy vehicle startup in China, a country currently leading the global EV revolution.
Leapmotor will be launched in Singapore later this year, marking its official entry into the local automotive market.
Where to Find Them?Both Peugeot and Leapmotor will be housed at C&C’s showroom at 239 Alexandra Road, joining other renowned brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Kia, Mitsubishi, ORA, Maxus, Citroën, and DS Automobiles.
With the addition of Leapmotor, C&C’s passenger car portfolio will expand to 10 brands, reinforcing its diverse automotive offerings in Singapore.
