Celebrating its 110th anniversary, Aston Martin has unveiled the Valour, an exclusive edition sporting the sole front-engined V12 sports car boasting a manual transmission. In the electric age, the Valour stands as a beacon for enthusiasts seeking an authentic, unfiltered driving encounter.
Honoring Aston Martin's legacy of crafting top-notch front-engined sports cars, the Valour draws inspiration from the revered 1977 V8 Vantage and the Aston Martin RHAM/1 Le Mans racer. Infusing elements from other iconic models like the One-77 and the bespoke Victor, the Valour exudes a captivating presence with a blend of classic design and driver-focused essence.
This majestic machine flaunts a clamshell bonnet featuring a striking 'horse shoe' vent, round LED headlights, a triple tailpipe exhaust, and 'exoblades' on the rear screen panel, embodying an aggressive yet captivating aura.
Powered by a 715PS/753Nm twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine at the front paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, the Valour promises an unparalleled driving experience, marking it as a "precious collector’s piece that demands to be driven," according to Aston Martin.
Boasting a mechanical limited-slip differential and three driving modes, including 'Sport' and 'Track,' the Valour ensures a heightened connection between the driver and the car, while electronic traction and stability control systems offer added assistance.
To balance road prowess and track aptitude, Aston Martin has meticulously equipped the Valour with bespoke suspension parts, anti-roll bars, and carbon ceramic brakes, ensuring a well-rounded driving experience for both road trips and track days.
The Valour offers extensive customization options, allowing personalization with materials like machined aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, and walnut for the gear knob. Customizable woollen tweed seats, inspired by the legendary 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1, and a choice of 21 paint colors with hand-painted stripes further accentuate its exclusivity.
Aston Martin's Executive Chairman, Lawrence Stroll, hailed the Valour as a testament to the brand's design and engineering prowess, solidifying its position as the producer of ultra-luxury high-performance cars that resonate with driving enthusiasts worldwide.
Scheduled for production later this year and limited to just 110 units, the Valour's deliveries will commence towards the year's end. Aston Martin urges prospective buyers to secure their piece of history by placing orders promptly.
